  • David Nagib named Blavatnik National Awards finalist

    David Nagib, an organic chemist and a professor of chemistry and biochemistry has been selected as a finalist for the 2024 Blavatnik National Awards for Young Scientists. The award celebrates exceptional early career scientists under 42 years of age who have sought to innovate their field by pursuing high-risk, high-reward research.

  • Huang and Stefano awarded Fulbright-Hays Group Project Abroad

    Twelve Ohio State students and K-12 educators will have the chance to teach English in Taiwan next summer, thanks to a Fulbright-Hays Group Project Abroad grant. The project is led by Professor Becky Huang and Ivan Stefano, director of Intercultural English Language Programs, from the College of Education and Human Ecology.

  • Two ENGIE-Axium Endowed Appointments Announced

    Cynthia Carnes and Ezekiel Johnston-Halperin have been named ENGIE-Axium Endowed Chair and Professor, respectively, pending approval by The Ohio State University Board of Trustees.

  • DeAnza Cook awarded Phi Beta Kappa Society Research Fellowship

    Assistant Professor DeAnza Cook, Department of History, was awarded an inaugural Norman G. Pauling Early Career Research Fellowship from the Phi Beta Kappa Society. The prestigious award recognizes and supports outstanding scholars whose work exemplifies the critical role of the liberal arts and sciences as a public good.
