Ohio State faculty awards recognize outstanding teaching, research
Educators who were recognized at The Ohio State University’s annual Faculty Awards Celebration represent inventive teaching, innovative research and impactful service, said President Walter “Ted” Carter Jr. The event was held April 25 at the Fawcett Center. “Our faculty are among the best in the world at what they do. From medicine to agriculture to technology, business and the arts, your work changes and literally saves lives,” Carter told honorees. “Your teaching, research and service is the core of our land-grant mission. You’re on the front lines with our students every day, preparing them to tackle complex challenges and become thoughtful, engaged citizens and leaders. You’re out in the community helping fellow Ohioans lead healthier and more productive lives.” |
