In 2026, Ohio State welcomed just over 300 new faculty, including tenure-track, clinical/teaching/practice, research, and associated faculty. In the week leading up to the start of autumn semester, the team in Faculty Affairs worked hard to welcome and support new and current faculty through multiple programs, including the Promotion and Tenure Achievement Conference, New Faculty Orientation and the New Chairs Program Retreat.

During the Promotion and Tenure Achievement Conference, current faculty gained helpful resources for navigating the next stage in their careers.

At New Faculty Orientation, new Buckeyes learned all about Ohio State, including meeting Brutus.

The New Chairs Program Retreat supported success by helping new chairs define their role and offered opportunities to meet university leaders and peers committed to their support.
