Sarah Conley

Assistant Vice Provost for Dual Careers & Faculty Relocation

Sarah Conley serves as assistant vice provost for Dual Careers and Faculty Life in the Office of Faculty Affairs. Her work focuses on the areas of professional search both within academia and industry, relocation consultation, and community acclimation. This role allows her to work with incoming and recently hired faculty to support their transition to Ohio State. Sarah also leads the Faculty Networks that are intended to provide space for connection and community outside of the traditional academic setting to support our faculty. 

Sarah has been with The Ohio State University for over 11 years, serving in various capacities within the talent space. She began her career at Ohio State in the Office of Human Resources as a talent acquisition consultant, providing strategic recruitment support focused on staff talent. This role allowed her to support many academic and administrative units and establish relationships across all Ohio State campuses. 

Following her time in the Office of Human Resources, Sarah joined the College of Engineering in a newly created role of Human Resources Manager, focusing on strategic talent acquisition for the college. She provided leadership in strategic recruitment, developed and implemented training focused on the hiring process for both faculty and staff, created resources for hiring managers and academic leadership for use throughout the search process, supported dual careers and relocation, and worked closely with hiring managers and search committees to facilitate and support the hiring process for faculty and staff.  

Sarah graduated from The Ohio State University.
