The Office of Faculty Affairs offers several faculty development opportunities, including New Faculty Orientation, the P&T Achievement Conference, Faculty Pathways, the New Chair Program, and the All Chairs Program, among others. 1.1.2 Outreach and Engagement
The Office of Outreach and Engagement offers professional development opportunities for faculty and staff. Development opportunities include the Engaged Scholarship Faculty Community of Practice and workshops designed to increase the understanding of broader research impacts.
1.1.3 National Center for Faculty Development and Diversity
The Office of Diversity and Inclusion maintains an institutional membership to the National Center for Faculty Development and Diversity, which offers a host of faculty development opportunities.
1.2 Office of the Enterprise for Research, Innovation and Knowledge
The Office of the Enterprise for Research, Innovation and Knowledge offers numerous faculty development opportunities that can be found at the Knowledge Discovery and Development Programs website. Programs range from developing a research program to building large, team-science-focused grants.
1.3 Keenan Center for Entrepreneurship
The Tim and Kathleen Keenan Center for Entrepreneurship offers programs to support the entrepreneurial development of faculty and students. Faculty interested in a start-up are encouraged to work with the Center to ensure the proper process is followed.
