Advancing Transparency in Teaching: Considerations of Syllabus Design, Instruction and AI

This workshop equips instructors with evidence-informed strategies to enhance transparency across a wide range of course design elements, from the syllabus to instructional practices. Attendees will leave with strategies for leveraging transparency to improve course design, reduce barriers to student engagement, and communicate more clearly and effectively with students around AI and assessment. This session will count towards two teaching endorsements: Foundations of Effective Learning Environments and Teaching and Learning to Build AI Fluency
