The inaugural All Chairs Retreat provided a valuable opportunity for building and strengthening relationships with fellow chairs while also gaining insight into leadership philosophy and expectations—fostering a collaborative and supportive network.
It featured engaging sessions where attendees participated in meaningful personal leadership experiences, enhancing their self-awareness as leaders and identifying the capabilities necessary for success. Expert presenters also supplied practical tools for problem-solving and shaping the chair’s individual leadership agendas.
Additional gatherings will be offered throughout the year for department chairs to strengthen their network and develop as leaders. New department chairs also engage in a yearlong program in their first year to support their transition to a leadership role.
