    Electrical and Computer Engineering Professor Xinmiao Zhang has been elevated to the distinguished rank of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Fellow for her contributions on error-correcting codes and very large-scale integration implementations.

    Four Ohio State faculty members have been named recipients of the Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers.

    Professor of Astronomy Adam Leroy awarded Henry Draper Medal

    The oldest medal awarded by the National Academy of Sciences, the Henry Draper Medal celebrates those who have made “a recent, original investigation in astronomical physics, of sufficient importance and benefit to science to merit such recognition.” It is awarded every four years.
