Caroline T. Clark, professor of teaching and learning; Susan Cole, professor and chair, Department of Molecular Genetics; and John E. Davidson, professor of German languages and literatures, are recipients of the 2026 President and Provost’s Award for Distinguished Faculty Service.

Professor Mark Bender, former chair in the Department of East Asian Languages and Literatures, has been honored with the Kenneth Goldstein Award for Lifetime Academic Leadership from the American Folklore Society.

Distinguished Professor of Urban Education James L. Moore III has been elected to the National Academy of Education, one of the highest honors in education research and policy.
